‘Remember’ by Elizabeth Marie

Contributed by Elizabeth
Marie

You can hide
Behind the lies.
Just paste on a smile.
Safe and effective.
From one source of truth.

But you’re in a toxic trial.
My world has been shaken.
Nothing’s quite the same.
But still, I choose freedom.
I have my health retained.
You can cower, behind a mask,
Used for you don’t ask.

A jab to work.
A small price to pay.
Lives lost, you won’t say.
No longer working.
Because I choose to be free.
Free, but isolated.
No longer welcome, you see.
Let us remember.
Let us remember.
The 15th of November.
Red Remembrance Day.
Red Remembrance Day.

Original song written & performed by Elizabeth Marie, a supporter of NZDSOS.
