My battle for exemption

In early 2021 my specialist advised me that on no account could I have a C19 shot due to anaphalaxis of some of the ingredients.

I also have chronic fatigue syndrome and a number of other conditions including auto immune disease.

I struggle with small things and concentration/ memory/cognition are all heavily impacted.

I sought the online forms but it took all week to fill them out and get the correct information to be included. The net was crashing with the sheer volume of applications and by the deadline of 7 days I couldn’t get my form completed in time. Especially  with my fatigue. So I had to begin the process again and again. Each week the rules changed. I have poor close up vision and couldn’t read the tiny print. The rules kept changing at closer intervals down from 7 days to 2 days and daily.

So I decided to hack an email for Asley Bloomfield. I managed to contact him and he promised his team would assist me. Instead my applications were all being rejected with out any reason noted.

My specialist was one of the top I n his field globally but that was not good enough for Ashley Bloomfield.

He then stipulated I needed to see a cardiologist and once I get to see one then reapply. Again it was rejected without explanation.

He then wanted me to see other people and still my application was being rejected. I was literally getting the run around.

The last straw for me was when by pushing back hard on him he admitted that one of the team was a nurse who was rejecting my applications.

I confronted him with the fact that my specialist was the top in his field, how could a nurse have the authority to reject his letters.

Eventually after telling me to take Moderna instead which was even worse; Ashley Bloomfield then told me that I’d have to have the shot in hospital with a crash cart ready and hope they’d be able to “bring me round.”

So I pushed back again and asked was he really telling me to take the vaccine and die and then hope someone could resuscitate me?

He said “yes” so I told him this was not about health and not about science.

We had a few more emails and then he told me to go away. They would not consider any further applications.

That he would block my ability to email him which he did.

Upon hearing of the 11000 polititions, media etc that got the exemptions instead of people who needed them I was angry.

Not only was it clear that Ashley Bloomfield wanted to put me at risk of death.

He gave them to all of these other people instead. Knowing full well the C19 shots were dangerous.

Deliberately endangering the lives of both those who took the shots and the lives of those needing an exemption to save us from death.

As a former nurse, the sheer elation I had felt after taking my hippocratic oath in the 1970s was now replaced by disgust.
