In May 2021 I received 2 Pfizer covid jabs, 3 weeks apart. I needed to get to UK to visit my daughter who had suffered a small stroke (2 weeks after her second jab) and I knew the only way I could re-enter NZ was to be vaccinated.
A couple of weeks later I started experiencing intense pain and inflammation in my right knee – I have never been prone to this before. It carried on for 2 months before moving down into my right ankle and then foot – a total of 6 months. After 16 treatments of acupuncture it thankfully cleared up. During this time I was unable to walk any distance, and once I started walking again I noticed I was very short of breath. At first I put it down to being unfit, but it didn’t go away.
I continued to feel limited by shortness of breath on exertion and mentioned it to my GP who referred me for spirometry. In the meantime I decided to contact Health-Helpline and asked to see Emma Sandford who is a neighbour and friend. From my first consultation with Emma, she was so professional, knowledgeable and eager to help with this and my other health problems. I found the fact that she is a qualified doctor, naturopath and herbalist put her in the perfect position to give me the help I had failed to receive from my GP, who I have now parted company with. Emma is also able to issue prescriptions, request blood tests and make referrals. I feel able to discuss my health issues with Emma and have a different relationship with her than I had with my GP.
After a referral to a respiratory physician, lung function tests and a CT scan, I have been diagnosed with bronchiectasis. This has been a real blow to me, and so unexpected as I have never suffered from any respiratory problems throughout my entire life until now. Both the consultant and Emma have expressed the opinion it is probably due to an inflammatory response to the covid jabs, but this is unlikely to ever be proved. I now have to live with the consequences of the jabs, which is shortness of breath on even the slightest exertion, which has had a major impact on just about every aspect of my life.
I also have a few lung related issues which cld be due to the vax. I did have some random back spasms, 3 sessions so far, horribly debilitating! My narutepath has referred me an energy healer, as the body is made up of energy, as this healing can be useful in eliminating lingering issues. It may help you.
